The evening include a guided meditation, indigenous prayer, and poetry to readjust our psyche from attack and prolonged systemic mistreament in this country. Zenju Earthlyn Manuel will read from her book The Way of Tenderness: Awakening Through Race, Sexuality, and Race and invite us to read in unison short sections of her book to honor the collective voice and bring forward collective consciousness.
