Please join us for our first Jukai ceremony, Sunday, June 18, 2017 at 3:00 pm, at Berkeley Zen Center. Please come early. Carpool and do not park on Russell Street.  No scents or fragrances on the body or on your clothes. Thank you .

Rev. Zenju Earthlyn Manuel will preside. She will offer the vows to three longstanding students of the Buddha way. Please bring cards and gifts to encourage newcomers onto the path. The candidates are: Andrea Henderson, Margaret Benson-Thompson, and Unique Holland. Deep bows to these Bodhisattvas who are taking their places as spiritual warriors of our times.
