October 14 – 16, 2022
Join Osho Zenju Earthlyn Manuel for a retreat to explore what appears as darkness in our lives and in the world. We are experiencing increasing death during the 21st century due to climate change, pandemics, and acts of hatred.
In this retreat, we will look at the darkness and death and the source of power within both and location of celebration.
While we each attend to dark experiences in our own ways, there is a larger meta power at work in which death and darkness can be understood as transformative and ascendant. Osho Zenju will present the female energy of Maman Brigit of the Vodou pantheon as a gateway to understand death in the realm of essential darkness. There will be a practice introduced that was created by Zenju Osho based on Maman Brigit to help in times of loss.
We will sit in meditation, examine poetry, verse, and stories created around death. The hope is to open to dark experiences in life as a path in which to strengthen and awaken.
Listed times are the online portions of the retreat. All times are Mountain Time.
